Polyurethane TECNOCOAT
Liquid, 2-component polyurethane membrane, for waterproof coatings
The waterproof coating with polyurethane TECNOCOAT is usually applied as a multi-layer system and is the basis of our PU thick layer. Polyurethane TECNOCOAT is highly elastic, strongly adhesive, crack-bridging, chemical-resistant and has a very long service life.
Thorough preparation of the surface to be coated is necessary to achieve optimal adhesion and sealing. The connection to the substrate is created with the TECNOPOL Primer TM. TECNOCOAT is applied in 2-4 layers. Because of the mechanical and thermal stresses that occur in pools, we recommend inserting a TECNOPOL PES fabric fleece into the first layer of TECNOCOAT.
TECNOCOATTM is a liquid 2-component polyurethane membrane for sealing water-bearing structures (pools, water tanks, etc.)
Preparation:
TECNOCOAT is the actual basis of the polyurethane thick film membrane. After pre-treatment with TECNOPOL Primer, a layer of TECNOCOAT is first applied. The fabric fleece TECNOTOP PES is inserted into the still moist material to reinforce the membrane. This is followed by layers two and three. Finally, 1 layer of topcoat TECNOTOP UV is then applied.
The material requirement of TECNOCOAT is 0.8 - 1.0 kg/m2 per layer.
It is delivered in 2 components, which are mixed carefully before use.
TECNOCOAT can be diluted up to 10% with PU thinner.
