The polyurethane thick-layer pool coating with fabric reinforcement should be used wherever there can be tensions in the structure due to an inhomogeneous pool structure with regard to thermal expansion and mechanical movement. This is the case, for example, with construction methods common in our latitudes, with a floor slab, bricked or concreted walls, plaster and filler. The different areas have different coefficients of expansion, and so temperature fluctuations inevitably lead to tension. These tensions also occur when the pool is emptied, which in the long term can lead to cracks in the structure.
Polyurethane itself is a very elastic material with an elongation at break of more than 300%, which it can absorb a large part of these stresses. In connection with the fully laid fabric reinforcement, you get an almost indestructible, approx. 3mm thick coating that is able to withstand all mechanical loads and environmental influences.

This is how it's done:
After preparing the substrate (closing cracks, smoothing, installing connections, leveling), the primer LouisPREN HydroTM is applied. Depending on the type and absorbency of the surface, 1-2 layers are required.
Then the first layer of the LouisPURTM polyurethane coating is applied. The fabric reinforcement LouisFLEXTM is then inserted into the still moist material and immediately smoothed out. After hardening, layers 2 and 3 are applied. Finally, depending on the exposure and solar radiation, 1-2 layers of LouisCOLOR UVTM are applied as a coating and additional UV protection.
After at least 7 days the material is completely hardened and you can start filling your pool.

Fleece LouisFLEXTM: surface of the coating, additionally recommended 20 cm strips in corners or on edges (plus approx. 10% waste)
Coating LouisCOLOR UVTM: 250 - 300 grams per m2 and layer, 1-2 layers
