Elastic 2-component polyurethane coating with UV protection
LouisCOLOR UV is a highly elastic and UV stabilized polyurethane material for simple (multi-layer) pool coating and as a topcoat for UV stabilization for the Louis PU thick layer pool coating.
LouisCOLOR UV is very well suited to give stable and "unproblematic" pool constructions a waterproof coating. Pools that are made of different materials, such as floor slabs, walls, ring anchors, plaster and filler, or that are exposed to temperature fluctuations, should be covered with a PU thick layer pool coating for even better elasticity.
LouisCOLOR UV is particularly suitable as a topcoat with high chemical and UV resistance for this Louis PU thick layer.
Quantity required: 250 - 300 grams / m2 per layer, 2 - 3 layers are recommended for exclusive use.
We recommend 1-2 layers as a topcoat for the Louis PU thick layer.
Perfect substrate preparation is necessary to ensure optimal adhesion. The surface must be dry and free of dust, oil and grease. Fresh concrete should have set for at least 4 weeks. A smooth surface should be carefully roughened with sandpaper. A primer (LouisPREN Hydro) should definitely be applied beforehand.
