The simple pool coating made of polyurethane is well suited for "unproblematic" pool constructions, such as concrete pools. In this case, unproblematic means that no stresses are to be expected in the system, caused by an elastic wall structure and / or by assemblies with different expansion coefficients (mechanical and / or thermal causes). For pools with an elastic wall structure or unsafe foundation sealing, we recommend the "pool coating PU thick layer".
LouisCOLOR UVTM is also suitable for renovations (re-coating) of GRP or PP pools.
This is how it's done:
After preparing the substrate (closing cracks, smoothing out, installing connections), the primer LouisPREN HydroTM is applied. Depending on the type and absorbency of the surface, 1-2 layers are required.
Then 2-3 layers of LouisCOLOR UVTM are applied. Finished!
After at least 7 days the material is completely hardened and you can start filling your pool.

LouisPREN Hydro: 200 - 250 grams per m2, 2 layers recommended
LouisPUR UV: 250 - 300 grams per m2, 2-3 layers
